Autumn Woodwork Day – Saturday 9th November 9.30am to 4pm
Our annual Woodwork day is here once more, giving you the chance to learn or put into practice your woodwork skills. This year we will be putting the final touches to our seating area and building raised beds for our accessible garden. As ever, we will be guided by an experienced carpenter and all tools and equipment will be provided.
To keep you warm and happy on the day we will be providing a delicious Autumn soup and a crumble for desert, both made using produce from the community garden.
Children are welcome to take part if they are accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.
This event is free to attend
Festive Wreath Making Workshop – Saturday 7th December 10.00am to 2.30pm
Experienced horticulturalist Fran will be leading a day of festive crafts and refreshments. With guidance from Fran, you’ll get the chance to create your very own festive wreath, using foliage foraged from the park and surrounding areas.
All materials, plus some delicious festive refreshments, will be provided.
Children are very welcome to take part. They will need to be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.
